Sixth Grade Newsletter
April 20, 2018
Dear Parents,
We have an abbreviated newsletter because Mrs. Garver will be in Washington DC with her daughter Grace, who is representing Michigan in the National Poetry Out Loud competition.
Sports Physicals
Don't forget that sports physicals are Wednesday! Forms are available in the office.
English
We will continue to practice for the M-Step test.
In addition, students will continue their writing. They have grown so much as writers this year and we are very proud of their progress!
Math
Last week, students practiced solving multiplication and division equations. They also practiced solving equations with fractions.
Social Studies
In Social Studies we are learning about North America and focusing on two essential questions: Why and how do people, goods, and ideas move?
Science
We will be working all week on differentiating between physical and chemical changes.
