Come meet your child's teachers and run through his/her schedule as if you were in an actual school day but in a much abbreviated form (8 minute bell schedule). Schedules will be distributed when you arrive at school. We can't make any guarantees that there will not be a "pop quiz" and don't socialize in the hall too long between classes as tardy slips will be given out. Seriously, this event is a wonderful way to meet your child's teachers and experience Reicher's dynamic program first hand.

Schedule of Classes:

B1 - 6:15 p.m. - 6:23 p.m.

Advisory - 6:19 p.m. - 6:27 p.m.

New Parent Mixer

We would like to welcome all of our new parents to our community, so we are hosting on Tuesday, September 17, a mixer where we can welcome them to our community. The mixer is a come and go event, so you will have plenty of time to travel over to Reicher for the beginning of our Back to High School Night.

Friends of St. Louis-Reicher Pray the Rosary

Parents and other friends of St. Louis-Reicher are invited to pray the Rosary together in our chapel. There will be two opportunities every week, Tuesdays on the St. Louis campus and Wednesdays on the Reicher campus, to join others in praying the rosary for our school. We began this week and are looking forward to continuing this beautiful group prayer for the rest of the year.

We would love for anyone to join us. Even if you unfamiliar with praying the Rosary. We are happy to acquaint you with it. Parents should drop off their students as usual, then proceed to park in the front of the school, sign in and go to the chapel. We will be praying the Rosary for the success and safety of our children, for the school and the staff, and any other personal intentions parents wish to share.

Thank you to Mrs. Liz DeLaRosa for organizing this wonderful opportunity.

The ACT will be offered at Reicher on Tuesday, October 1st, in the morning at the SLAC (across from Reicher on Windsor Street) for those who signed up.

There are free study materials for any student located on this website.

The SAT will be offered on Wednesday, March 25, in the morning.

All 9th through 11th graders will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 16th at 8:00 am in the SLAC (across from Reicher on Windsor Street). There are free study materials that Mrs. Conners will be handing out on Monday and through Khan Academy.

See Mrs. Conners if you have questions or concerns about either of these tests. We will be offering Test Prep on Fridays through October 4th in the downstairs computer lab during FIT. Please let Mrs. Conners know if you plan to attend, so that she can have materials and a computer available.

Seniors Applying for College Admission

If you have applied, or will be applying, for admission to any university and/or college, you must request your transcript be sent through Naviance. At least five students have already applied for admission.

Happy Applying!!

Please see Mrs. Conners if you have any questions.

Reading for Hope

Both campuses have implemented a school-wide "Reading for Hope" initiative this school year. The students of St. Louis-Reicher Catholic School will be reading books and asking for sponsors to donate an amount per number of books read or make a one-time donation to St. Jude's Children's Medical Center in memory of Mrs. Annette Carruth. Mrs. Carruth was a teacher at the St. Louis campus who lost a courageous battle with cancer this past summer. We would like to honor her memory this year.

We hope this will be not only a great opportunity to read, but a meaningful experience in empathy and compassion for others.

Mr. Veselka is Available for Math Tutoring

Mr. Veselka is available for math tutoring during FIT, lunch, and after and before school. He will even help dual credit students. Please see him in Room 215 or email him at
