Trimester Transition / Report Cards
Thursday, November 16 was the last day of classes in our first trimester. Students completed their first trimester final assessments on November 15-16. This week we began the second trimester, which runs through Thursday, February 29. Report cards from first trimester will be available in Skyward on Monday, December 4, and the 15 school-day ineligibility period will begin on Wednesday, November 29. This impacts any students who received a failing or incomplete grade during first trimester, and it applies to all extra-curricular activities, not just athletics. Such students can regain eligibility on Wednesday, December 20, provided they are passing all second trimester courses. On behalf of the staff at Bloomer High School, I would like to thank our students for a successful and smooth first trimester, and I wish everyone the best of luck as we begin our second trimester.
Holiday Break
Friday, December 22nd is the last day of classes for Bloomer students prior to the holiday break. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 3. It is our sincere hope that all of you remain healthy, have a wonderful holiday season and are able to spend quality time with both family and friends.

Winter Sports Underway
As we head into December, we want to again congratulate Coaches Carla Favilla, Jaime Otto and the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams who made school history in November by both teams winning the Conference Championships, Sectional Championships, and qualifying for the state competition in Wisconsin Rapids. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) today launched a new service that will transform the support structure for families of children with delays, disabilities, special health care needs, or mental health conditions. Wisconsin Wayfinder: Children’s Resource Network includes a user-friendly website and toll-free helpline that lets families easily connect with real people – dedicated children’s resource guides – who will help navigate through the essential services and supports that will enable their children to thrive.
A statewide, user-friendly website, dhs.wi.gov/wiscway, and toll-free number, 877-WiscWay (877-947-2929), provide families with convenient, direct access to compassionate and knowledgeable children’s resource guides.
