Getting students to actively participate in class and/or interact with other students can be a challenge to say the least. Here are 4 common reasons students do not participate and possible methods to increase participation.

Tech Bytes: Pic Collage
Pic Collage in which students can create photo collages using their own photos or photos they are assigned to take in class. They can add text, stickers, and a background amongst other things. Students can save the collage to their photo gallery, email it, or post to a teacher-approved site. Click here for ideas on how it has been used in content areas.
