Lots of Learning Left to Do This Year
In Math: we will be working on addition and subtraction during these last 6 weeks. Students are working on becoming fluent with math facts to 5 (for example: adding 2+1, 4+1, 2+3, etc)
In Reading: we will continue working on reading strategies to continue to grow as readers! Students will be working on our last unit in Fundations as well. We have been introduced to the digraphs (th, sh. ch, wh, ck).
In Science: we are learning about the farm to prepare for our upcoming field trip.
In Writing: we are learning about opinion writing and will finish the year learning about non-fiction informational writing (farm animals).
