Math Tutor

Students who are not on track to finish the first semester of their Apex math course must spend time with our math tutor. He is in our classroom on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00-1:30. You know who you are! Be here!

The math tutor can also assist students who are preparing for a college math final.

Spring Semester Concurrent Enrollment Forms Due Now!

Please turn in your signed Concurrent Enrollment form this week, or next week at the latest. Our registration date is November 14th.

Apex and Google Classroom Assignments

Remember, the first semester ends on December 20th, 2018. First semester Apex classes and Google Classroom assignments need to be completed by this date in order for credits to be included on first semester transcripts. Parents, please review the weekly assignment sheet (emailed home and handed to students during our meetings) with your student and encourage your student to spend time on assignments and in our classroom if necessary.

Smarter Balanced Assessment Practice

All district students in grades 10 and 11 are participating in a practice test (ICA) in the month of November. This practice is in preparation for the Smarter Balanced test that grade 11 students take in the spring. ISP students will take the practice test in our classroom. I have a sign up sheet for students to select a time that works for their schedule. The test takes about 3 hours to complete (1.5 hours for ELA and 1.5 hours for Math). It is online and must be done in our classroom.
