Pilgrims on the Way of Truth

Always Begin with God: a Message from Fr. Twenty

The Holy Mass is our greatest gift. In the Mass, Jesus Christ speaks to us, heart to heart. In the Mass, heaven touches earth when He becomes truly present in the Eucharist. In the Mass, we join ourselves to His work of salvation for us and the whole world!

Daily Mass is the best opportunity at Marian to grow spiritually. I know that this is not always possible for everyone to attend with how busy we all are. However, I want to make the daily Mass experience as accessible as possible to as many people as possible in our community. So, I have decided to try out a few changes to the weekly Chapel schedule:

  • Daily Mass. M-F, 7:45am-8am.

  • Confessions. M-Th, right after school at 2:30pm until all are heard (unless there is a team/club Mass that day), and Monday during all lunch periods. Also feel free to ask me for confession any time!

  • Adoration. T-Th during all lunch periods.

By starting Mass at 7:45am, even those who ride the bus can still hopefully make it. I will make sure it is done by 8am, so that students and faculty have time to get to class. If you have to come late and/or leave early, no problem.

NOTE: Team/Club Masses will still be at the normal 2:40pm time (unless a different time is requested). I simply will celebrate two Masses on those days.

See you at Mass! All are welcome!

For your convenience, there is also an option to upload your student's immunization records right into the form. If you did not receive the email, please contact Mrs. DiSilvio at

Immunization Records and Birth Certificates

Attention Freshman: All Freshmen must have an up-to-date record of immunizations on file in the office. All Freshmen must also provide a birth certificate.

Class of 2022 (Freshmen!)

We CAN'T WAIT to see you this coming Wednesday at Freshman Orientation! It will be a full school day - with full bus services. If you're riding the Durham buses - you will most likely have Joel, Larry, Jill, or Therese. These AMAZING humans have been driving our students for years - and really are a true extension of our school staff. Please be sure to say hello - as they will most likely rescue a forgotten lunch-bag and bring it in for you! :o)

We emailed out a Welcome Letter to all Freshmen parents (using the primary email supplied on your registration form) but if you need quick access to it, here's the link to it: Class of 2022 Welcome Letter

This letter will have all the information you will need to for Freshman Orientation! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact your Marian Mentor! They LOVE to help - and remember, they were in your shoes not too long ago and had all the same questions!

We are SO GLAD you are here!

Oh...JUNIOR YEAR! So much on the to-do list can be a little overwhelming! We got you! First thing's first though: PLEASE SIGN UP TO WORK CONCESSIONS! This is a requirement of ALL JUNIORS - and not just because it reduces your Prom Ticket fee by 50%.

We emailed out a letter specifically to all Junior parents - but here's a link to that letter, along with instructions on how to sign up for concession slots. We have home football games coming up quickly here, so please consider fulfilling your class obligation early!

Used Books are still available to purchase through the school office. We are discounting the books 25% off the listed prices. A list of books available is on the website under News and Announcements. Please note - this was our FINAL year offering the Used Book Sale program.

We are proud to partner with On-Target Sales to provide our Marian Central family with all your Hurricane spirit wear! School Uniform Information

Please check out our School Uniform visual guide. We hope you find it useful as you build your student's uniform wardrobe! Throughout the year, we will post sales and promotions offered through Lands End. The company has offered excellent customer service, and has a wonderful return policy. The sizing chart and ordering guide online is very helpful - but if you are unsure of your child's sizes, please check out this in-person fitting information offered at the Lombard Sears store.

Attention SENIOR Students (18-19 School Year!)

All seniors must provide proof of up-to-date meningitis vaccination. The State of Illinois requires that all public and private school student medical records are in compliance at the beginning of the school year. Please set some time aside this summer to check this very important item off your list. Thank you.

Click here for more information about the meningitis vaccination through Walgreens, which also offers vaccines at certain locations without an appointment!

Visit the Marian Central Website!

All announcements, schedules, and forms are published on our Marian website for your convenience! After any new announcements are broadcast via email, we make sure we post a permanent link to the information on our website for your reference.
