A Note From Mr. Christ

Dear Paddock Families,

I hope you have all had a nice, relaxing weekend. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that helped make the Paddock Back To School Picnic such a resounding success. From the PTA members who organized and ran the event to the teachers that volunteered to get dunked, pied, or just came to say hi, I am grateful for all of your support! It was wonderful to see so many Paddock families enjoying an evening of fun together. We truly have an amazing school community and I'm thankful to be a part of it.

Sincerely-

Jason Christ

Principal

SHIELD Testing

Paddock students will SHIELD test on Tuesday's from 11:30-1:50. At their scheduled time, grade levels will send students that have opted into SHIELD testing to the library to be tested. The schedule is:

11:30-11:50 - 6th grade

12:05-12:25 - 1st grade

12:25-12:45 - 2nd grade

12:45-1:05 - 3rd grade

1:10-1:30 - 4th grade

1:30-1:50 - 5th grade

Paddock staff and SHIELD team members will be available to guide students to where they need to be and help them through the process. Please note there may be a delayed start for students who were opted in after the Infinite Campus survey closed. Additionally, please remind your child to not eat or drink at least 30 minutes prior to testing to ensure it's accuracy. Staff will help to remind students of this as well.

Please reach out with any questions.

Picture Day

Picture Day at Paddock will be on Tuesday, September 21st! Please see the flyers below for information on different packages and ordering. Paper flyers will also be going home with your student soon.

ECDEC Screening

ECDEC is an early childhood program that services District 15 students prior to starting kindergarten. Please see the flyer for additional information on ECDEC and who to contact regarding the student screening process.

Fun Run

Paddock Fun Run 2021 is happening in October! This year, Paddock will keep 87-100% of donations received!

Funds raised through the Fun Run will help the PTA pay for:

- Assemblies and programs for students during the school day

- Evening events for the whole family, including the Back to School Picnic, Family Reading Night, Pantherfest, STEAM Fair, Multicultural Night, etc.

- Teacher Appreciation Week

- And more*!!

*Our goal is to raise enough money through the Fun Run to support all the above events and activities AND purchase new playground equipment for Paddock School!

This is a fun and exciting OUTDOOR event held during the school day. All students will participate, regardless of donations received. If the Fun Run fundraising does well, no additional PTA fundraising campaigns will be needed this school year!

Additional information and personalized fundraising pages for each student will be sent out at the end of the month. Stay tuned!

Join The Paddock PTA!!

Paddock's PTA is an organization of families and teachers working together to provide an enriching learning environment for our students and a welcoming community for our families. Your PTA membership is used to host school activities, student programs, and school assemblies. It helps our families connect with each other, know what’s happening at Paddock, give parents opportunities to volunteer and provide support to our teachers. The more members our PTA has, the more good we can do.
