A New School Year
Dear Students & Families,
King Core Values
Caring, Cooperative, Respectful, Responsible, Safe
Our core values are our guiding principles and important in building our positive school-wide culture. These core values will be taught to the students within the first week of school. All students and staff are expected to demonstrate being caring, cooperative, respectful, responsible, and safe towards each other and in all areas of the school. This month we will be emphasizing RESPECT and I hope this will be explained and modeled at home. Raising the next generation is a shared responsibility. When families, communities, and school work together, students are successful and the entire community benefits.
Home Visit - An additional aspect of the Framingham Public School's plan of enhancing cultural connectedness is through home visits. Here is information about home visits
I'm excited about this school year and look forward to working with you and your child/children.
Sincerely,
Dr. Marguerite Lackard
Principal

The first week of school, the teachers will review and practice our fire drill, lockdown, and shelter in place procedures. This is something all schools in the district must do. In addition, during the first month of school, the fire department does their fire drill safety procedure with our school. Please, talk with your child/children about these procedures ahead of the time. We want our students to be calm and aware of what is to come regarding our safety procedures.
