Congratulations to all our students who played in finals this weekend. Big win to the Kawerau U9’s JAB team and our Yr 5-6 Netball girls played an incredible game that was tied every quarter and were extremely unlucky to have gone down by 1 at the very end of the game! Thank you so much Whaea Tioney for your awesome coaching!!! And to all the whānau who have driven their girls each week, and supported the team. It’s great to see our girls competing in Whakatāne again!

Nevada Osooso and Tamsin Kepa are representing Rangitaiki at the 2021 Tai Mitchell Tournament.

History was made when this season's Tai Mitchell Rugby tournament kicked off in Te Puke.

The primary and intermediate school-age tournament has been played for 80 years but this is the first to feature both boys' and girls' tournaments.

Kawerau Pūtauaki School are proud to have two of our students participating in the first Girls Tournament, representing Rangitaiki.

Both Nevada and Tamsin have gone from the netball court last weekend, to the rugby field this weekend! Way to go girls!!

We were overwhelmed by the support shown on Grandparent's Day by the number of whānau who came to share the day with our students.
