Message from Mrs. Lord, KSE Counselor

Week two at KSE has been a great one. During our school-wide circle time students have been identifying their emotions on the mood meter. Some students are using this tool to help recognize which emotion helps them learn best. I have included a mood meter you can use at home. This is a wonderful tool to help us recognize our emotions in ourselves and others. It is also helping students to expand their emotional vocabulary.

Next week we will be learning about the different parts of the brain and how they affect our emotions. Online students, I will email you the link on Tuesday. I am so excited about our new school year and I am so proud to be the counselor at KSE. Because not only are we the best school in the universe, we have the best students and families in the universe.

If you have any questions or concerns please give me a call 66-7675 or email me at klord@garfieldre2.net

I also have bookmarked this form on all student’s devices Hey Mrs. Lord ...Let's talk

Totes of Hope

Totes of Hope® was created in 2006 to assist children with nutritious, kid-friendly food to sustain them over the weekend when school is not in session. Every Wednesday, children take home a tote filled with 6-8 nutritious food items to feed them and their families. If this is something that interests you, please fill out the survey below.
