Family Faith
Blessings Bags Project
It’s now time for our 2nd (of three) community service project for St. Francis families this year. The goal of these projects is to give our families a hands-on way to give back to the community. We will put together BLESSINGS BAGS FOR THE HOMELESS AND NEEDY in Savannah, and we will deliver the bags in person. This project will have three steps, and your family can participate in any or all of them!
Step 1: Collection of Items. Thank you for all your donations during Catholic Schools Week, for the BLESSINGS BAGS!!
Step 2: Assemble the bags. All ages can help assemble the Blessings Bags, and we will do this at our Family Faith Night this Saturday, February 15 in the school cafeteria. More information about this event below.
Step 3: Deliver the bags. One of the greatest things we could do for the homeless and needy community is to let them know we haven’t forgotten about them. See them. Talk to them. Listen to them. We invite you and your family to step out of your comfort zone, and deliver the Blessings Bags in person, on Sunday, March 1, to the homeless and needy in and around Forsyth Park. Kids must be accompanied by their parents. We will meet in the parking lot of St. Francis church after the 10:30 Mass.
Family Faith Night: Game Night Edition!
You are invited to Family Faith Night at St. Francis Catholic School this Saturday, February 15 from 5:00 – 7:00 in the school cafeteria! This is a free fellowship event for all families!
This night will include:
- Assembly of Blessings Bags for the Homeless and Needy in Savannah!
- Guest Speaker to inspire us all on our family’s faith journey!
- Dinner featuring Mr. Pope’s “famous” Chicken Enchiladas! (You do NOT want to miss this)
- And of course… GAMES, GAMES, GAMES! We will have fun games that the entire family can enjoy, complete with PRIZES!
Please RSVP to lauragracewolf@gmail.com for this event!
Many blessings to everyone!
