Chantrell Creek Spirit Wear is Back
It has been a long time since we have last offered Chantrell Creek Spirit Wear at our school. Spirit Wear is a variety of clothing, including t-shirts, hoodies, shorts and hats that all have the Chantrell Creek logo. This is a school fundraiser to help improve our current technology at school. Prices are reasonable and the product is beautiful. Watch for an upcoming e-mail that will have information for ordering. Stay tuned…

Please remember to Dress for the weather
The rainy season will soon be upon us at Chantrell and just a reminder that we try and have students go outside every day, rain or shine, unless the weather is extreme. Please be sure to send your child to school with an appropriate jacket (with a hood or if possible with an umbrella).
Safe Schools
Be Respectful to Yourself
Be Respectful to Others
Be Respectful to Property
Be Safe
Knowing all of this, sometimes students are not following the above and like most things in life, our actions often have consequences.
Unacceptable behaviour typically has the following consequences:
Review of expectations and a timeout;
Meeting and or contact with parents
In severe cases, which are extremely rare.....short or long term suspension...
This and other more detailed information in respect to behaviour is in your child's planner under Philosophy Statement and Student Code of Conduct.
Remembrance Day Assembly
An important assembly at our school each year is the Remembrance Day Assembly which will be Thursday, November 8th @ 10:30 am. This is an important time for us to thank and pay respect to all those who have fought and defended our country so we can enjoy the freedom that we sometimes take for granted. Our Remembrance Day Ceremony is open to all parents and we look forward to seeing you at this important assembly. If students wish to make a donation to the Royal Canadian Legion who supply our poppies, that would be appreciated. Through your donations to the Legion Poppy Fund, the Legion provides financial assistance and support to Veterans, including Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP, and their families who are in need.
