Headteachers Message
Dear Families
As we approach the end of another productive week, I am delighted to share some exciting updates with you.
Firstly, I am thrilled to announce that our school production of "Footloose" is set to kick off next week. The students and staff have put in tremendous effort, and I am confident that this will be an outstanding showcase of talent and dedication. I encourage everyone to come and support our budding performers – it promises to be an entertaining week of performances.
This week, our focus has been on fostering a positive learning environment through the power of praise. Teachers and staff have been actively acknowledging and celebrating the achievements, big and small, of our students. It's wonderful to see the impact this has on their confidence and enthusiasm for learning. We believe that a positive and encouraging atmosphere lays the foundation for success, and I encourage parents to continue reinforcing this at home. Please also pass on my congratulations to your child if they received any bronze, silver or gold learning awards this last week.
Looking ahead, the PTA Christmas Tree Sale is just around the corner. Please mark your calendars for next Saturday, 2 December, and join us in this festive event. Your participation and support contribute significantly to the success of our school community, and the funds raised will go towards enhancing the overall learning experience for our students.
As we move towards the end of term, I am delighted to report that there has been a wealth of great learning taking place throughout the school. The commitment of both students and staff to academic excellence is evident, and we are proud of the progress being made. Keep up the fantastic work, everyone!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead. We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Monday for a prompt 08:40 start.
Kind regards
Mr P Grills
