Kirk Fenton News
22nd November 2019
Dear Parents / Carers,
First of all this week I would like to thank all those parents that attended the Friends of Kirk Fenton EGM. It was a good turnout and I am very pleased and relieved to say that we now have a new committee for the next school year. Your support is invaluable so thank you for stepping up.
Also this week a well done to our Year 5 & 6 swimmers who competed at the swimming festival on Thursday. Your team work and perseverance made me proud.
We are now in full swing with our Christmas rehearsals so school is a very merry place to be however we still want to support continued learning in all our pupils so please ensure that you continue to read with your child and help them to learn spellings and times tables.
Have a good weekend,
Mrs Karen Williams

We would like to say a massive thank you to Kate Biddleston, Gemma Nightingale and Matt Askey, who have stepped down from their roles on the committee, for all the work and support you have done over the past year.
Money well spent
Friends have donated £1,000 this month to the school for their Outdoor Learning and Additional Reading System material. This money could not have been raised without the continued support from our volunteers.

It is Non Uniform Day on 29th November. Please bring in donations of Chocolate for the Christmas Fair Chocolate Tombola. All chocolate donations must be NUT FREE, this includes Quality Street, Heroes, Celebrations etc. Unfortunately we cannot use these for our Tombola.
