Mammogram: Tests for breast cancer-Women should start going from 40 to 70 or later, annually or every other year.
Pap smear: Tests for cervical cancer-Women should go after 21 every 3 years until 30, after that every 5 years.
Prostate Exam: Tests for prostate cancer-Men should talk with their doctor at age 50 for getting tested and going annually.
Statistics
In 2009/2010 a sample of 2,020,000 women were tested for breast cancer. 16,500 tumors or cancers were found.
In 1987 only 29% of women got mammograms. As of 2000, 70% of women are getting mammograms.
