Kendallvue Community Updates
September 26 - 30, 2022
Fall Fundraiser
We are excited to launch our fall fundraiser this week - The Return of the Ninja! We will start the event on Monday, September 26 with an all school assembly. The goal for Monday is for families to register on the website. Your student(s) will come home on Monday with their fundraiser packet. The event culminates with the Ninja course on October 14.
The purpose for our fundraiser is to help build an outdoor classroom, enhance our garden space, strengthen our PBIS program, and more instructional technology in our classrooms. Enhancing our outdoor experiences for students aligns with our expeditionary philosophy. Continuing to build our PBIS program helps create a positive student culture. Finally, adding interactive technology in our classrooms, allows for more enhanced student experiences.
I want to thank you in advance for supporting our school. I am always amazed by the strength of this community.
Cheers,
Bruce Lindsey

October Count
It’s official – October Count Day this year is Monday, October 3. The most important action you can take to support school funding is to make sure your student attends school on that day. Much of public education funding from the State of Colorado is based on student count, so we encourage you to be sure your student engages in school that day.
The “count window” the state observes is from Monday, September 26 through Monday, October 10, but the most important student count day is Monday, October 3. Please help us ensure an accurate count by having your student participate in learning that day.
If your student will be absent on Monday, October 3 due to illness, call our attendance line, 303-982-7990 to report the absence. Attendance during the “count window” will help counteract an absence on Monday, October 3.
Thank you for your support of Kendallvue Elementary school. Every student counts!
Kendallvue Art Program
We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Original Works art-based fundraising! You can also check out this flyer.
Through the program, students will create artwork that you then can have reproduced onto a variety of keepsake products. The products range from magnets to mugs and start at just $6.00.
Complete details on the program will be sent home soon. Proceeds from the program will be used to support the visual arts program at Kendallvue. For more information on Original Works please visit their website at www.originalworks.com
