Register for the 2021 WRCCS Conference (virtual)
July 27-28, 2021
The 2021 WRCCS Conference registration is open! Since we are virtual again this year, we worked hard to find a virtual platform to offer you a more seamless interactive experience, including several types of sessions and the ability to connect with coaches and peers. WRCCS believes that networking with others to build stronger relationships across that state can still be at the center of a virtual conference.
Conference sessions are based on the WRCCS Charter School Competencies and are designed to be hands-on and interactive; participants are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and build solutions together. View a complete list of the conference sessions here.
- Tuesday, July 27th will be all about charter school authorizing and governance boards
- Wednesday, July 28th will be all about charter school leadership and classrooms
Once registered, you can log into the Attendee Hub and begin scheduling your experience, including your required sessions, breakout sessions, personalized support with coaches, and connections to colleagues from across the state.
If you are a DPI charter school sub-grantee, please review your requirements regarding conference participation to ensure your team fulfills the proper attendance requirements.
All are welcome to attend both days, but know that the content will be highly focused to maximize our time together. There is no fee for attendees for the WRCCS Conference, as we are supported fully by the federal charter schools program grant. Whether your school is just starting out or has been going strong, your whole team will walk away with resources and action items to support your great work. Please pass on this learning opportunity to anyone you feel would be interested. We look forward to seeing you there!

WRCCS Stipend Opportunity for Charter School Design Teams
When you're ready to apply, email Zaynab Baalbaki at zbaalbaki@wrccs.org to express your interest in applying for the stipend and she will get you started with your application.
This application window will close fairly quickly, later in July, but we will offer another round of funding (our third round) early next spring - so don't worry if you can't catch this one.
We are really looking forward to supporting you in this new way!

NEW! WRCCS can now add your school promotional video to the yearbook!
WRCCS can now add your school promotional video to the yearbook!
If you would like to take advantage of this new feature, please email us your YouTube video link (must be a YouTube link) with the school name and we will take care of the rest.
Please review all other information in your charter school listing for the 2021-22 Yearbook. Launch the online yearbook, search for your school and review the information we have. If any updates need to be made, please submit them by clicking on the "Request Update To This Listing" button found on your schools listing page (see photo below).
Please note that this request is exclusively for the charter schools yearbook. Your school and/or district is also responsible for keeping up-to-date information in the DPI schools directory, for which you will need to submit similar changes to Kari Tenley Kari.Tenley@dpi.wi.gov 608-267-1071.
