The Challenger Dispatch

April 7-11, 2014 Week 2

It's good to be home!!

4 days is WAY too long to be gone from Challenger. Belissa and I (and Jerae for 2 of the 4 days) attended some exceptional training last week. You will see pieces of our learnings in the days, months and years to come. Special thanks to all of you from Deana. She did a great job holding down the fort, and you all did a great job of being mindful of all she was trying to do.

Quick reminder that Thursday April 10 is School-Wide Writing Prompt Day. I am attaching the chosen writing prompts for each grade level. Check to make sure that this is your grade level's prompt, if not, please let me now immediately so that I can make the necessary changes. Also remember that each grade level has determined their own time for giving the writing prompt.

Let me know if you have any questions about the school-wide prompt day.

Talking with the Press

Remember that in the event that the press is on property, you are not the spokesperson. Always say no comment and refer them to me or Keith Ward at the distrcit office. Jan did a great job last week in a situation. Way to go Jan!
