A True Hero:
In the year 1918 a young school girl (Madeleine Parent) was very rich but thought that poor people should not have to do work for her including being a maid or butler. Madeleine was disgusted with the fact that people would be judged by how much money they had. Madeleine has created the workers union and many other things to show and create more equality including the CCU. Madeleine was born and raised in Canada with dreams of creating more equality throughout the entire world. She made a difference in all of Canada and even some of the world by putting her foot down and saying "I simply could not accept that." Madeleine Parent will be remembered for her bravery and courage to make equality.
A Hero Is...
a person who would risk their own life for someone else to have a better life. A hero would go out of their way to help someone through a hard time in their life. Anyone can be called a hero but few people actually are. I would consider police, paramedics and fire fighters to be heroes because I know the things that they have to do in an accident and they do not enjoy it but they do it for the people so they can live the rest of their life. I believe that many people don't even have potential to because a hero because they will never come across a person that needs the help. Many people are heroes and will become heroes. In my life at some point I would like to be called a hero but even though I could have saved a life that is not what a hero is, a hero is a person who has the intention of helping someone or something. It is NOT a matter of having what it takes to be a hero it is a matter of being there at the right time and showing that you have intention to do something good for someone. Will YOU be a hero?
