9th Grade Short Survey Email
You will receive an email on November 10th from Mrs. LeMmon. This is a survey about your plans for future. It is a short survey and there are even drawings for prizes for submitted surveys. Please take a moment to complete the survey by November 15 and THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!
If you missed the email, see below. There is a link to follow to access the survey in the letter.
I want to invite you to take some time to respond to a brief survey. The survey is primarily about your educational experience and your plans after high school. It is being conducted by a local nonprofit, and your responses will help identify ways to improve education and opportunities for all students in Utah.
You can take the survey here: https://envisionutah. qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ 2lODCAk7Rsy45Q9
Your responses will be anonymous. At the end of the survey, you can also enter a drawing for the chance to win an iPad or Nintendo Switch or even one of a handful of restaurant gift cards.
I encourage you to take the survey regardless of your plan after high school. Your answers will help make a difference.
Thank you,
Mr. Loveless, Mrs. LeMmon, and Mr. Mortensen
Awaiting A COVID-19 Test?
Veteran's Day - November 11
We are currently placing stars (some with pictures) of veteran's in the front windows of our school. If you have a family member who has served or is currently serving in the military, please take a star from the front office, fill out the veteran's information and return it to Mrs. Provstgaard in the counseling office so she can display it. Please include a copy of a photo if you have one.
GOVERNOR HERBERT UPDATES COVID GUIDELINES
On Sunday evening, Governor Herbert updated the Utah State COVID response guidelines and restrictions. Here is a rundown of the guidelines that impact SFJHS:
- A statewide mask mandate for all Utahns in public, where six feet of physical distancing is not possible.
- Limiting casual social gatherings to household-only through the length of the order.
- A two-week hold on all extracurricular activities, including athletic and intramural events, rehearsals and open gym.
Let's all do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19 so we can get back to our regular activities (both here at school and outside of school).
Wrestling Season Postponed
Please do your part to save our season by properly wearing a mask, washing hands frequently, keeping hands away from your face, and sanitizing surfaces.
