Abortion is the premature expulsion of a human fetus. It could be naturally (miscarriage) or artificially induced (surgical or chemical abortion), which is more common in our society now. This process is the result of a mother a father deciding to terminate a pregnancy by choosing to kill their unborn child.

Many teenagers base their decisions on what their parents, partner, peers, culture, and the public. Teenagers are also more likely to want to keep their child because of the association abortion has with guilt, depression and sense of isolation. BUT are more likely to abort because of the pressure they have from their parents or sexual partners, which causes a higher chance of psychological effects after abortion. A lot of teenagers have a hard time adjusting to their abortion and often reenact the trauma through a repeated cycle of pregnancies and abortions.
