Random Acts of Kindness Update
On Friday's morning announcements, Granny Tolar encouraged students to make new friends by sitting beside someone who they do not usually sit by and playing with a new/different friend on the playground. It's important that we can find value in all types of people and our kindness can be extended beyond our 'usual' group. Our goal is to have every student feel included at Parsons!
If you are visiting for lunch one day, be sure to get a picture of your child in the front of the
BE THE "I" IN KIND bulletin board that Mrs. Sheppard, our art teacher, created in the hallway right outside the cafeteria.
McKinsey, from Ms. Monaco's class, was the "I" in Kind when she helped a friend in typing club who was having trouble.
Zion, in Ms. Kuny's class, was the "I" in KIND when he helped his parents by playing with his three little brothers. What a great Big Brother!
Be sure to talk to your child about the Acts of Kindness Chart below. Ask them to share what acts they have done so far and which ones they want to do!

Who Knew??
This is what the car rider lane looks like between 8:30-8:40 am. If you want the best curbside service available, come on down between 8:30 and 8:40 every morning and you will never be late to class. 8:40 to 8:50 am is our very busy time, so there is always a chance that you could be late and have to take your student to the office for late check in after 8:50.
