Every Child. Every Day. Whatever it Takes.
Hey FECC Families!
We work on identifying our names, identifying letters in our names and our friends names, writing, counting, patterning, matching and identifying colors, letters, and numbers, and many other pre-reading and math skills.
Another big focus is social emotional skills. We work on identifying our emotions, self regulation, building friendships, solving problems, and standing up for ourselves appropriately. You will not see worksheets come home. You will rarely see a predetermined project come home. We highly encourage students to be creative, innovative, and confident. We are preparing our students for a world that we cannot yet see, a world that is based on these skills. Our curriculum is research based and highly effective, and our teachers are highly trained.
If you ever have questions about anything, please don't hesitate to ask!
Next week is homecoming - check out the details below and have a great weekend!!
Sincerely,
Jen Meyerhoff
