Quist Weekly News

November 15, 2019

Dear RQMS Families:

What an exciting week for our students! Some of our students had a special opportunity to share the importance of kindness with our local elementary schools (West Ridge & Brantner). This unique event promoted the importance of kindness to over 2000 students within our community. All students present on World Kindness Day were led in a pledge of kindness.

At QMS, we are going to continue our kindness efforts through our fall fundraiser. From now through December 3rd, we are selling BE KIND and QUIST BE KIND branded merchandise. As communicated earlier, our students are managing the ordering process; in return, QMS will retain 50% of the profit. Funds raised will be going towards starting programs and future initiatives as we move into the new building and build our future.

If you have any questions about the ordering process, please reach out to our office and we will be happy to assist. Each student received training and learned of some incentives for them too. This is new and we will make adjustments where necessary. Our goal is to make it a painless process for everyone.

Second, as one of our core values at RQMS is SERVICE, we as a school will participate with S1LY in BE KIND HUMAN projects. Our first project will be coming in December! Stay Tuned!
