Feb. 15th: Medical Immunization Exclusion Day

On February 15, students who do not have the required immunizations won’t be able to attend school until they are immunized. Students who are not up to date on the required immunizations will receive a letter from the local health departments to remind them.

Vaccines are required by the state to keep students healthy in and out of the classroom. These vaccines prevent serious illnesses and keep communities safe.

Merlo Station SBHC is here to help!

Luckily we have School Based Health Center in Merlo Station Campus.

It has all the immunizations your student needs to stay in the classroom on Exclusion Day.

The SBHC can help get your student up to date on their required immunizations. Multiple vaccines can safely be given in the same appointment, so your student can spend less time in the clinic and more time in the classroom.

Call (503) 941-3180 to schedule a vaccine appointment.

---- Looking Back to January Fun Assembly ----

Students and staff came together during the Fun Assembly and played Kahoot! Guessing who knows most about the staff in Community School? "Who travelled tens of countries and lived in almost 10 different cities in the United States? Who has the same birth date with his/her younger sibling? Who officiated weddings?" It was a very fun, guessing games that made all of our staff and students to learn about each other!
