Dear Peyton and Alex,
I would like advice on… not being so self-conscious with myself. I’m so positive while helping people but never really been positive with myself. So how do you be more confident in yourself?
Just don’t care what other people think of you. And don’t feel like everyone else is better than your because they are really not.
I would like advice on… helping me relax in stressful problems?
In order to relax you could maybe just take a second to let it all go. Release your tense muscles and take deep breaths. After you take deep breaths you will have a clear mind and will know what you have to do with out becoming more stressed. Or when you're really stressed you could take a nice bath, take a nap, or even do some yoga. I have heard that yoga is very good in managing stress.
I would like advice on… how to have a successful future?
In order to have a successful future just make sure to not flunk school, because that’s VERY important. School builds you and prepares you so you can get a great job and live a great life!
I would like advice on… how to get more help whenever I need extra help?
If you need tutoring you could do some research online to find an online tutor or a real life tutor. OR you could ask your teachers, peers, and/or parents to help you with the help you need.

Short Story:
The important things in life
A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2 inches in diameter.
He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up the remaining open areas of the jar.
He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “Yes.”
“Now,” said the professor, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things – your family, your partner, your health, your children – things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter – like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else, the small stuff.”
“If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued, “there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party, or fix the disposal.”
“Take care of the rocks first – the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.”

News Story:
Firefighter rescues blind dog in the woods. Dan Estrada was walking in the woods when he noticed an elderly dog lying down not moving. The dog’s name was sage and he had been missing from her family for eight days. Since she was blind and old, the family assumed she was dead. Dan slung sage over his shoulder and returned her home safely. He was offered a reward, but turned it down and suggested that the family donate it to an animal shelter.
