Principal's Message

I celebrated a birthday this week and I received some wonderful cards and birthday wishes from students that brightened up my day. Having students guess my age always brings a laugh. I heard some JK and SK students guess that I was 19years old while some thought I was 67 years old. Nevertheless, it is pretty humbling but totally worth the laugh.

Our PTA Game Night is this evening and it sounds like it is going to be a ton of fun! Thanks to the parent and staff volunteers who have helped to plan the event and run it this evening. For all families, these events DO NOT run themselves and we have several upcoming BIG events that currently do not have any volunteers. If you are interested, please consider volunteering - click here.

We practiced our first fire drill today. I wanted to inform you in case your child comes home and talks about it. We are required to do several drill throughout the year, including monthly fire drills, two severe weather and lockdown drills and an off-site evacuation drill. We will inform parents about these drills as we practice them.

PTA Updates...

Thank you to those who have agreed to run events and volunteer at them. A special thank you goes to Melissa Lydecker, Kait McCullough and Melissa Smoothers for organizing and running Game Night tonight!

Please take the time to visit the follow links to join the PTA and get involved. We are looking for people to help with all the Washington Events.

Box Tops!

We will continue to accept physical box tops until there are no more, provided that they are still in date. You may already have noticed the changes on the packaging from products that you typically buy. Moving forward, please install and use the app. It is very easy to use, and we hope to still be able to count on this as a way to make money for our school. For that we will need your help! Please note below, from just one receipt, $2.90! Exponentially we can really make this work!
