North Point Educational Service Center (NPESC) is excited to share this menu of virtual professional learning opportunities designed for educators of all levels for November 2020.

As always, these events are FREE for all staff from the member school districts of NPESC.

If joining a live session, all attendees must log in with both first & last name and an email address in order for contact hour certificates to be emailed out after the event.

Want to learn how to conduct SOLE sessions virtually?

If you have been previously trained in the SOLE Instructional Strategy and you are familiar with the StartSOLE platform and free resources, you should learn how to conduct SOLE lessons virtually. Our Brandi Goodwin has created a short video to show you how to use StartSOLE's simple tools. You can conduct awesome SOLE lessons virtually whether your kids are getting instruction remotely or in your classroom but need to social distance with StartSOLE Virtual.

PBIS TIER 1 TRAINING SERIES: Virtual via Google Classroom

EVENT SERIES DATES: October 23- December 18


This will be a train the trainer series for District Leadership PBIS teams and is approved by Ohio Department of Education and OCRRA. This is condensed so your action planning will be intentional for implementation in Fall as you work to train your own building PBIS teams and staff.


Cost: Free-NPESC Members | $50 non-members

Grad Credit available: 1 hr, Ashland Univ. payable directly to Ashland

Facilitators: Lonny Rivera, Dennis Doughty


Contact Hrs: 18 for full participation and completion of all modules

Virtual Support Staff Network Meetings

Additionally we are continuing to host virtual meetings to connect a variety of support staff groups (counselors, social workers, career coaches, tech integration specialists, remote educators, etc). These network meetings allow the opportunity for these support staff to collaborate and connect regularly to share ideas and resources.
