Dear Area 31 Entrepreneurs and Friends,
This week in Area 31 you can learn more about TAGitSMART's Second Call for startups as they are looking for tools to create smart solutions for the whole value chain; manufacturer, transportation, retail, consumer and recycling.
Also this week we have another session of our Venture Network Weeklies, so join us in an informal environment!
We start the week with a talk about the Fourth Sector and the Future of Social Entrepreneurship organized by Professor Rachida Justo and organized by IE’s Center for the Governance of Change.
Our senior startups from IEU will be presenting on Tuesday their startups in order to be one of the startups from IBM Global Entrepreneurship Program. This iniatitive is organized by IEU Computer Society and IEU Entrepreneurship Club.
On Wednesday, IE celebrates innovation and entrepreneurship beyond Area 31. IE's 12th Social Responsibility Forum, next week in Aula Magna, will feature a fair with social entrepreneurs from the Incubator in Area 31. SRF is the biggest student run conference at IE. This year’s forum is built as a conversation about alternatives for a career with impact, portraying examples in several sectors (corporate, ventures, NGOs).

Come see Ventures pitch to investors and industry experts, hear feedback from the panel, ask the startups your own questions, and meet the local startup community. Moments Open Call Tagitsmart

An informal meeting addressed to all those companies that want to submit a proposal to the TagItSmart second Open Call. The objectives are to inform about the project and help clarifying all doubts regarding the project and the application process.

The Fourth Sector and the Future of Social Entrepreneurship

The Fourth Sector is a new international project supported by the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), that seeks to accelerate the establishment of a tailor-made ecosystem for social economy and for-benefit enterprises across borders.
IE will be welcoming some of its leaders and world-leading experts on the topic to discuss the challenges and opportunities of this new sector.Register here
IBM Global Entrepreneurship Program

IBM will introduce to the IE Community their IBM Global Entrepreneurship Program - a gateway into a global ecosystem of top business leaders and investors, technical experts, enterprise clients and so much more.
The event is an initiative of IEU Computer Society & Entrepreneurship Club
It will be followed by a 2-minute-startup-pitch-slam session by IEU startups and only the best ones will be selected by Watson for their Global Entrepreneurship Program.
