potage of ris

recipe
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1 to 2 cups of fully cooked rice
  • 1/4 cups of sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • pinch of ground saffron

preparation


  1. Bring milk to a boil, stirring constantly , keep stirring and simmer until the milk has reduced to half of the original volume
  2. Add rice , sugar and saffron
  3. saute almonds in butter to use as a garnish
  4. serve warm
