A Note From Choir

Student Intern, Janine Locke

My name is Janine Locke and I am the student intern studying under Mrs. Fudge. I will be at Riverview for the first nine weeks of school during the Spring semester. I am working with three Jr, High choirs and two Sr. High choirs and I am loving every second I get to work with your kids! I consider myself blessed to be working with such a dedicated group of performers! Thank you for letting them share their lovely voices! I have also been given the opportunity to teach High School Music Theory and Jr. High Music Appreciation, which have proven to be a great learning experience for me, as well as I hope it is a learning experience for your children!

If you have any questions concerning your children, pleas feel free to email me anytime at jvincent@harding.edu

A little bit about Mrs. Locke

I grew up in Texas and can't wait to return home to my beautiful state to spread my love for music. I was home schooled from Kindergarten through twelfth grade, so being in a public high school is a bit different for me. I am so thankful for how gracious the kids have been these first few weeks as I am adjusting and learning. Even though I was never in a public school choir, I have always loved to sing, whether at church or in the car.

My family is so important to me and have taught me the value of hard work, perseverance and a good work ethic, I have had part time jobs since the age of 14, which I believe has prepared me for the hard work of student teaching. I couldn't get through the tiring weeks if not for my husband of a year and a half, Drew. He is surely my rock.
