The Wingspan
Oak Ridge High School's Weekly Newsletter
From the Principal
The weather is starting to change and with the cooler breezes we welcome what fall has to offer. At school we are starting to see students and teachers getting into a groove and continuing to adhere to academic expectations and safety protocols.
Homecoming week is November 9-14 and while we will not have a homecoming dance, we will have several events and activities to make the week memorable - more information will come out on those events in the next few weeks.
The grading period ends on Thursday, and teachers will be working to get their final grades in on Tuesday. Please encourage your child to turn in their work and communicate with their teachers on what they are missing.
Remember, we have no school on Friday or Monday for students, so please encourage your child to take time to rest and refocus on a strong 2nd nine weeks.
As always, if there is anything I can do please let me know.
