Parent/Teacher Conferences
It is an expectation at the middle school that students attend this conference along with their parent(s), so please have your child with you at the computer when it's your turn to "meet" with a teacher. If times have all been filled for a teacher you would like to speak with, please reach out to that teacher via email. They will do their best to find an alternate time on a different day to speak with you.
Who to call?
We have had some questions about who to call and when.
Absences and General School Questions:
For absences and any necessary school business, please call our front office at 847-298-1750.
Bus Issues:
Please call Grand Prairie if you have concerns about bussing delays, or if a student left an item behind on the bus. The dispatcher can assist, avoiding a third party from needing to communicate back and forth, and you will have your answer sooner! You can reach a dispatcher at 847-640-2142
Bus Riders
If students are found not to be in their seat and/or wearing their mask they risk suspension from the bus.
District Winter Card Design Contest
Does your children love to draw? Would they be interested in designing our District's winter greeting card? Please click on the link below to access the template and to read more information about this contest. Designs are due November 10th.
Spirit Wear
https://rivertrails.itemorder.com/sale
All orders are due by October 24th, and the school is expected to receive these the week of November 11th. A portion of the sales goes to our PTC, which goes directly back to our students!
Fall Festival
Instead of a traditional dance, we will be holding a Fall Festival on Friday, October 22nd, from 4:00-5:30. We will have games, sports activities, a D.J., pizza, and maybe even a couple of raffles! There will be a costume contest if students would like to dress up, but please no costume masks that would covers entire face, or weapons of any kind (even if they're not real). Our PTC is asking for a $1 donation if students would like to attend. Students can turn in their dollar to the front office, or at the festival by the pizza station. Students were emailed a Google form (only students are able to open this form) to let us know if they will be there so we have an idea of how much pizza to order.
Parents can fill in this form if they are able to donate your time, or a case of water bottles. Mrs. Krall-Meske will be reaching out the volunteers via email early in the week to let them know where they will be stationed.
