Student ID's
In the coming weeks we will begin communicating to students the need to wear their ID's at all times. This has not been a practice we have followed, but a recent Homeland Security audit highly encouraged this practice. At Millennium, we want to be proactive in supporting the safety of our students and this is one small thing everyone can do.
Our goal is to have students consistently wearing their ID's 4th quarter.
I like to remind families of our dress code, especially with the changing of seasons. We want to make sure that blankets stay at home. Please encourage your child to bring a sweatshirt to stay warm.
Warmer weather usually brings the most challenges. Below are examples of dress code violations:
- Midriffs
- Bare shoulder
- Shorts exposing the buttocks
- Muscle shirts exposing too much skin
Students will be asked to call for a change of clothes if there is a dress code violation.
