Maggie Tubbs in Top 8 at DYW
Her mom said it best in a Facebook post: "But the one thing that made my momma heart burst wide open was how after it was over she made a point to go tell the little lady who had helped her get in and out of her dress thank you. She found the alumni volunteer who had encouraged her all week and told her what a blessing she had been to her. She made sure to tell the director/choreographer how much she enjoyed getting to work with her! She found the winner and told her how happy and excited she was for her! With little tears in her eyes, sincerely thanking them. She wouldn’t get in the car until she found them. Not because someone told her to or because other people were doing it, but because she’s just a jewel and that’s just who she is!" - Molly Tubbs (and you are so right, Molly!)
Jackson Bratton won the 6A Lineman of the Year Award on January 15 at the state's coveted Mr. Football Awards Banquet
