I hope everyone is enjoying the three day weekend in honor of Veteran's Day. Please join us next Friday, November 18th for our next school assembly at 8:30am on the blacktop. Lastly, we are 1 week away from Thanksgiving break! Please remember there will be no school on November 21st - 25th.

Prestwood Direct - This past week, you should have received a flyer for Prestwood Direct. All donations go directly back to our school. Donations that are turned in by November 18th will be entered into a drawing to win 4 Disneyland Park Hopper tickets! PTO Website:

See's Candy - Our 4th and 5th grade classes will be going to Outdoor Ed in a few months. To help offset the costs, please consider purchasing See's Candy to help them raise funds for the wonderful learning event. Order online here:

When we return from Thanksgiving break, we will be kicking off our annual Scholastic Book Fair. The book fair will be online and on campus. Stay tuned for more information.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Join the SVUSD Team!

SVUSD Community: Have you ever been interested in the work of a school district employee? Do you have some time on your hands and wouldn't mind making a little extra money while serving our valley's youth?

We have two opportunities for you!

If you have a bachelor's degree and are interested in being a guest teacher, please contact Danielle Contreras at for details! Guest teachers can earn up to $209/day and the work is quite rewarding...and regular!

In addition to guest teachers, we are seeking hardworking, dedicated, and compassionate adults to serve as classified substitutes at this time. We have experienced an increasing need as an outcome of the Pandemic and could use support in clerical work, transportation, campus supervision, student support and so much more. If you are interested in being added to our classified employee sub-pool, please contact Ann Marie Paparelli at to begin the simple process of onboarding. These are paid positions and the compensation varies by the type of work completed.

Thank you!

COVID Antigen Testing - Sign Up Link

The Sonoma Valley Unified School District will offer the K-12 School Antigen Testing Program for district students and staff. Participation in this program requires registration with the COLOR system in order to be tested. Unlike at-home testing, the school antigen testing is performed on test cards on school grounds and results are available in 15 minutes. Select district staff at every campus will be able to administer the school antigen testing and families are required to register their child to be tested. If you have a child at more than one school, you will need to register them through the unique link for each of the schools.
