Business Sponsors Needed!
Many thanks to REMAX, James River Advisors, Myers Ford, Hammer Insurance, the Hoskins family, and Ms. Gigliotti for their donations toward our Book Machine! To date, we have received $2,400.00 in donations! The total cost of the book machine is $5165.00 so we have just over $2,700.00 more to raise!
If your business or employer is interested in this partnership, we will add your company logo to the book machine as well as provide your business with tax write-off documentation for donations.
Please reach out to Leslie Kapuchuck (lkapuchuck@rockingham.k12.va.us) or 540-289-3004 if you are able to help us achieve this goal for our students!
Central Shenandoah Health District Tobacco Cessation Program
Tobacco Cessation Program Parent Letter
Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable disease, disability, and death in the United States. As a community, we can start to address this public health crisis by educating parents about addiction and giving them the tools they need to help their children end their dependence on nicotine products.
The Central Shenandoah Health District is excited to offer a three session Tobacco Cessation Education Program. This program will take place in the evening and will be offered virtually.
If you are interested in learning more about this program, please complete the survey linked here: https://redcap.link/6uvdfs8v
This program is open to anyone interested in learning about tobacco products and tools to quit. If you have any questions, please reach out to Katherine Smith, Health Educator, at katherine.smith@vdh.virginia.gov.
Breakfast and Lunch is FREE for all students! Menus are below!

Transportation Changes- IMPORTANT!
Any same-day transportation changes during the school year must occur before 1:30pm. Please make sure these are taken care of through the office, rather than contacting the teacher, so that we can ensure your child gets home safely! Often, teachers do not have time to check messages and email during the day, so it is important that these changes are communicated to the office. The office will take care of making sure teachers know of the transportation changes.
RCPS COVID-19 & Health Plan Information
You can find the RCPS reopening information by clicking here. You can find the RCPS health plan here.
We continue to follow the same health and safety procedures as last year when it comes to COVID-19. Thank you for understanding that all of our schools in RCPS are following this plan in order to maintain the health and safety of our students and staff. We appreciate your patience, flexibility and understanding as we navigate this "new normal".
