Week of Feb. 1st
Principal Petrick Message
Every week brings changes and updates and this week is no different. The state launched a vaccination program for educators this past week. It would appear, at the time of this bulletin, that the vaccination process will likely take us into the end of March. It is expected that K-2 will resume in-person learning opportunities following the end of the vaccination process. Our district is planning on sending out some more details on the in-person learning plan and a survey to gather parent intentions between CDL and a return to in-person learning option in the near future.Updates are always posted at the top of the HSD website. www.hsd.k12.or.us

CAN TRANSPORTER NEEDED
FVPAE Needs Can Driver Volunteer
Farmington View's Can and Bottle Recycling Program is looking for a volunteer to take over transporting the bags of sorted cans/bottles to the Oregon Beverage and Recycling Center in East Portland. Our current volunteer, Dick Meeuwsen, is an FVES alumni father who continues to do FVPAE a huge service out of the kindness of his heart! He is needing to "retire" from his volunteer position due to health reasons but is willing to stick around to show the new volunteer the ropes. If you're interested in volunteering or have questions please contact Natasha at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Details: He uses an 18ft trailer but 16ft would also work. Typically he takes one load per month, although it has increased to two loads since COVID started.
