Hello Dewing School!

I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful summer vacation!

I am very excited to continue my work here at the Dewing School. The Dewing School is an amazing community full of wonderful children, staff and families and I truly feel blessed for the opportunity to work here! Mrs. Gerrish has given the Dewing School six fantastic years and we know she will be missed, but we are happy to see her share her love of Tewksbury and her love of learning with the Heath Brook School.

Over the coming weeks, you will be receiving information from me about the upcoming school year. However, I did want you to be aware of some upcoming opportunities and dates before the summer is over. I have also attached the general supply list for PK-2. This is also posted on our website and will be mailed home.

We will also be sending teacher assignment letters in early August. These will come by mail. Aspen will be updated with teacher assginments for students entering grades 1 and 2 as well. Kindergarten families will receive access to Aspen shortly after the start of the year.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the summer break. Hopefully, the heat will break soon!

August 22nd-PAC Playground Social for Grade 1 (4:30-5:30) and Grade 2 (5:30-6:00)

August 29-Kindergarten Orientation/Open House/PAC Playground Social (flyer below)

August 31-First Day of School for ALL students

September 2 and September 5-No School-Labor Day Recess

September 13-Grade 1 and 2 Open House
