Monday-What a busy week we have! We are learning about the color black this week. We also continued with our author study on David Wieser. We read the books, Tuesday, The Three Pigs, and Flotsam. We then completed a class graph on which book we liked best. Students were able to discuss why they liked the books and their favorite part of the story.

- We also had our laptops to practice Raz Kids. Please continue to practice this reading site at home. In math, we learned a new game called "Build It" from our Math Investigations. Students had to choose number cards and then build the numbers on a ten frame. They did an amazing job!

In writing, we read The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle and discussed the words beginning, middle, and end. Students then completed an activity drawing what the web looked like at the beginning, middle, and end of the book. In math, we ordered numbers completed an ordering numbers activity.

Thursday- We read, Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. Students then created a brochure on beginning, middle, and end of the story. We also made our very own Five Little Pumpkin books. Our class visited the Wonder Lounge and used the iPods for spelling and math apps.
