SpEdcampNJ 2017
Don't miss the best personal PD session all year!
SpEdcampNJ is coming!!
What is SpEdcampNJ?
SpEdcampNJ is a gathering of engaged individuals interested in sharing their experiences and knowledge with other engaged individuals from all walks of life. Click here to learn more about the Edcamp Model.
Why now? Why SpEdcampNJ?
Special Education around the country is being impacted by the Common Core, PARCC, and ongoing legislative challenges and changes. Professionals and parents around the country feel a need to be connected to other professionals and parents to share their knowledge and search for solutions in order to close the achievement gap and continue to do what's best for kids.
Special education laws and work have reached epic proportions, and it feels like it's time to share our knowledge and learn together! Join our SpEdcampNJ Facebook Group and keep up the energy!
Who Should Attend?
Whether you are a special education teacher, administrator, parent of a special needs child, co-teacher or small group interventionist like ESL/ELL, Reading, PT, OT, or Speech Therapist, please consider bringing your expertise to share with all of us who need to learn from you.
How did SpEdcampNJ Evolve?
The idea of SpEdcampNJ developed while Chris was attending another EdcampNJ event. At that event, Chris decided that Special Education teachers, parents, and administrators needed to have an event that addressed the special education community.
Join us for a day of learning, professional camaraderie, and having some fun along the way!
