REMINDER - NO SCHOOL FEBRUARY 28 & MARCH 1

School Make-up because of Snow Days

We already had many extra hours built into our calendar so even after the record amount of Snow/Cold Days we have had in January and February we, as a staff, are confident that it will not affect our ability to cover the material that we would normally have covered had we not lost those days. Because we do not feel that the education we offer has been affected by the snow/cold days, we only have a little bit of time that we need to make up to meet the required number of hours for accreditation and the Choice program. In order to meet the required number of hours, we are going to increase the length of the school day by 5 minutes, do some internal adjusting, and will dismiss at 3:40 pm on all remaining full days of school through May 23rd. We will begin this new dismissal time on Monday, February 25. This will help us recover the time we need to by the end of the year. We felt this would be the least disruptive way to address this situation for you, our families.
