What's Happening this Week: February 7, 2023

Valentine's Day is Tuesday, February 14. The FIHS chorus department is selling lollipops to help support performance field trips this spring. Lollipops are $1.00 and come in all flavors. On Valentine's Day, chorus plans to have the lollipops available in the carline to sell to parents.

On Saturday, February 4 the FIHS Athletic Booster Club hosted the 2nd Annual Friends of the Fury event at the Fountain Inn Armory. Thank you to the Athletic Booster Club for organizing this event and the PTSA for working the event! Great collaboration to build support for our students and programs at FIHS!

The Academic Assistance Center (AAC) is open Monday through Friday from 7:45AM to 8:40AM to provide support to students. Tutoring, help with projects, homework assistance, and check ins are provided by certified teachers each morning. Attendance is taken daily and parents can access their child's attendance in the program by emailing the grade level administrator. Ninth grade administrator, Shykeia Smith shykeiasmith@greenville.k12.sc.us or tenth grade administrator, Matt Irvin mirvin@greenville.k12.sc.us. AAC is located in room 1307 on the lower level.

With Valentine's Day coming up, this is a reminder to all parents that FIHS does not accept deliveries for students.
