News May 15, 2020
We can’t wait to celebrate your Graduation on Tuesday, May 19! This has been a wild and crazy year. With all of your help we are able to feature our 2020 graduates like no other graduating class in the history of Anchorage.
The Anchorage School District has provided an AdobeSparks with all our spotlighted Seniors. It’s not too late to add to the site!
If you want her to add anything, email Dr. Parker at parker_jessica@asdk12.org and send her links to performances, art work, personal publications you have written, or more photos.

No student speakers or performers will be allowed, but we will be playing some prerecorded speeches and performances.
We will call families up to the sidewalk in alphabetical order during the ROLL CALL so that parents can award their graduate their diploma. Photos will be taken. Each graduate who has time to stay can also be photographed on the hood of their car with the giant cap placed on top. Family groups will practice social distancing from other family groups. HELP – we are missing some items. If you borrowed a cap and gown from the school or took home a stole by mistake, please bring these items back to us on this day. We appreciate having extra caps and gowns on hand for people to borrow each year. You may also donate yours if you bought one and don’t care to keep all the parts. Thanks.
WORKSHOP - If you volunteered to help assemble the graduate flowers and gift boxes, meet us in the Enrichment Room (back door) on Tuesday, May 19, at 11:00 a.m. We hope to be done by 1:00. We will be making signs and banners at this time also.
PHOTOS taken at Romig during the Distribution Event will be posted on this website and will be sent out in a link in our final newsletter next week. Special thanks goes to Joselynn Finch Photography along with her daughter, Haley Finch, for volunteering to cover our event for free. This is an extraordinary gift of service to our graduate families. https://spark.adobe.com/page/a9pMOzT9YQADe/
