Congratulations Graduates!

On June 3rd we were honored to graduate nearly 200 seniors!

Congratulations graduating seniors!

We are so excited for you and your future.

Always let your beacon of light shine!

We have a winner!

Kindergartner, Braylen W. won second place for his grade level in the 2018 K12 Poetry Contest. Kudos to Braylen! Read his super amazing poem down below.

Braylen’s City!

I can run around my city!

Standing tall and playing ball.

I can walk through my city,

Strolling through the mall.

I can explore museums in my city!

While mommy drives my sister and I to the science center after she makes her calls.

I can visit Lions in my city,

Ford field is where I see them all!

I can hear all the motors roar in my city.

The dream cruise has all the cool cars.

I can skip rocks and watch ships sail in my city

Belle isle is a fun place to see the river near and far

When people ask me where I’m from, Mommy says say; I’m from the motor city! Rock city! Where we are born doing it all!

I’m from Detroit!
