Math club will be meeting Tuesday, Feb. 9th, after school (no 7th period meeting because of yearbook pictures) for a Texas Math League contest and club yearbook pictures. Please wear our math club shirt or maroon if you do not have one.
Operation Beautiful is approaching....T-Shirts will be on sale Monday, Feb. 8th – Wednesday, Feb. 17th in the Cafeteria during both lunches. The shirts are $15.
National Honor Society
The next Chinese Club meeting will be today, Feb. 4th at 4:30pm in room A215. We will be celebrating Chinese New Year! There will be lots of food, fun traditional activities, AND A RAFFLE DRAWING FOR RED ENVELOPES! (gift cards inside) Bring your friends and celebrate the New Year with us!

AP EXAM PAYMENT
AP exam Payment is due in the Counseling Office NO LATER THAN Friday, February 12th (change from the information received at Exam Registration)
If paying by Cash or Check:
1) Print your Confirmation Statement (emailed to you from Total Registration)
2.) bring a copy of the Confirmation Statement with your payment to the Counseling Office
3.) you will receive the payment envelope at that time
If paying by Credit Card:
1) parent signs on to your PayPams account
2) select “Sr High”
3) choose every exam you will take
4) enter payment (receipt will show details)
Destination College's February Workshops
The Destination College office at Collin College will be hosting two workshops in February, one featuring information on applying for financial aid and the other will be a session with our university partners. If you could please include the following information in any upcoming e-news or publications that would be beneficial to parents and students, we would greatly appreciate it. Collin College Pre-Admission Partnerships: Transferring to Universities

Representatives from Collin College's pre-admission partner colleges and universities will provide information about their programs’ benefits, the application process, financial aid, scholarships and ways to prepare for college. The partners will meet parents and students during institutional breakout sessions. Information tables from university partners including Austin College, Dallas Baptist University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University - Commerce, Texas Tech University, Texas Woman's University, Texas Wesleyan University, the University of Texas at Dallas, and the University of North Texas as well as Collin College will be available for browsing. Please note: Browsing tables will be available from 6:00-6:20 p.m. Welcome remarks and breakout sessions with the universities will begin at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited. Please join us for the 17th Annual MR. PLANO on Saturday, Feb. 13th at 7pm in the PSHS Theatre. Tickets will be on sale starting Monday, Feb. 8th – Friday, Feb. 12th in the Cafeteria during both lunches. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. This event has sold out almost every year, so purchase tickets early!!!
GRADUATION CAP & GOWN ORDERS
Tickets are NOW on sale on-line on Parent Portal https://parentviewer.pisd.edu/ until Friday, March 4th. The cost is $25 each or 2 for $50. Only seniors may purchase tickets. Limit is two per student. PSHS Prom will be Saturday, April 30th at Southfork Ranch from 8:30pm - 12:30am.
ST. ANDREW’S PROM CLOSET
The United Methodist Women of St. Andrew UMC, Plano are hosting a Prom Closet for young ladies to shop for that special event. There are dresses in all sizes and colors, as well as shoes, handbags and jewelry. The event has everything needed to complete the "total look" for the evening.

Thursday, March 3rd: 4 - 8pm
Saturday, March 5th: 9am - 12pm
Shopping will take place at the church - 1401 Mira Vista side of the church (Plano Parkway and Mira Vista), in the Smith Worship Center. Park in the east parking lot along Mira Vista and follow the Prom Closet directional signs. This event is a service of the UMW and is provided at no cost. Academic Decathlon Advances to State
We are so proud of our Academic Decathlon team!
After qualifying at the regional meet this past weekend, we are advancing to the state competition in Irving February 25-28.
