What does it really cost to make these shoes?

What is seldomly known by people is the means by which products are being made. The Jordan Brand, a subsidiary of Nike, is one of the most popular shoe companies in the world. In 2013, the company made about 2.25 Billion Dollars but pays a factory worker in Dongguan, China only $3.00 a day.... Thats outrageous seeing as federal minumum wage in the United States is $7.25 per hour. With $3.00 a day, these factory workers are below living wage individually, not even to consider the fact that these people might have families. It is key for people to be aware of these injustices and look at the situation through new lens. Ask yourself, What makes one person's life more important than another's?Jordan Brand Logo
