First Grade News
What's up in First Grade?
Hello and Welcome back!
Since coming back since Christmas break, we are happy to report that we have seen a huge growth in student's reading, writing and math! We are on a great streak and we are so thankful and lucky to have such wonderful and supportive parents.
As we move into winter, we are getting ready for some new units and a new potential field trip in late February or early March, most likely to the zoo to culminate our animal reports unit which we will start in the next week or two. We are also starting to get ready for the next report card and conferences. Conferences will be all day on Friday the 12th. These conferences will only be parent or teacher requested, so we will not be meeting with everyone at that time. However, you are always welcomed to set up a time to see either of us or both of us before or after school.
