Thank you for submitting an application to the Richard Bland Middle College High School Program. You have been selected to participate in Math and Reading assessments to help determine your readiness for college courses at Richard Bland. This is NOT a letter of acceptance to the program. This is an invitation to take the college assessments.
Please follow the directions below. You MUST complete the math practice exam BEFORE your actual test. There is not a practice test for English. (Please DO NOT SHARE this email with other students. This practice exam is by invitation ONLY.)

HAWKES LEARNING MATH PLACEMENT TESTING – Before Testing Date:
Take the Hawkes Learning Practice Placement Test first (CLICK HERE for the link and information for Registration).
After Registering in Hawkes Learning, click on PRACTICE PLACEMENT TEST; students will have unlimited attempts to take the practice test.
It is recommended that students complete at least 3 hours of review prior to taking the Official Placement Test.
During testing, students will be provided a 4-function calculator for the Placement Test.
Students completing at least 12 of the first 16 questions correctly will be eligible for MATH121; students completing at least 12 of the next 16 questions correctly will be eligible for MATH151.
Reminder: There is no practice test for English.
You will receive a separate email with details about your testing session. You will be assigned to test after school on MONDAY, MAY 6th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Testing will take place at PETERSBURG HIGH SCHOOL. (Light snacks will be provided before testing begins.)
